The Apostle Peter continues the exhortation to live honorable, God-pleasing lives before unbelievers.  He turns his attention to three situations in which these believers would find themselves.  The first is within society, particularly in one’s relationship to governing authorities.  The second is in the marketplace – the relationship between a Christian slave and one’s earthly master.  The third area is within the marriage relationship, specifically between a Christian wife and her unbelieving husband.
