The government of Knollwood is vested in its Elders (also known as the Board of Directors), who shall provide oversight in the spiritual and temporal affairs of the church.
The New Testament prescribes these specific functions of Elders: teaching Biblical truth, modeling Christ-like behavior, maintaining doctrinal purity, disciplining unruly believers, overseeing financial matters, and praying for those who are ill. The Elders shall also be a resource for providing encouragement, godly counsel, biblical wisdom, and accountability for the senior pastor of the church.
