Hospitality
Sunday Morning Coffee & Snacks
Did you know that we have coffee available every Sunday before church in the foyer? And on the 1st Sunday of the month, we have yummy treats to enjoy as well! We are in need of volunteers to help us run this hospitality ministry. If you are interested, email Mary Mendez.
Making Meals
There are many ways to show someone you care...and one of those ways is through food! We are putting together a list of people we can call on when someone in our church family needs a meal - because of a new baby, a serious illness, or during the loss of a loved one. If you'd like to be on this list, please email Mary Mendez.
Properties Ministry
Support Needed
We value the facilities and grounds the Lord has provided us here at Knollwood. We are working on building a team of folks willing to pitch in and help on projects and needs as they arise related to our property. Professionals, amateur DIY'ers, or those with no fix-it skills at all are welcome. If you do have particular ability in the trades (e.g, plumbing, sheet rock, etc.) let David Oakley know that when you email. Thank you to those who have already volunteered!
Food Pantry Collection

Sunday Quarterly Food Collection
We are continuing our food collection support on the 2nd Sunday of each quarter. Items needed: single serving sized cans of beans/ fruit/ vegetables/ soup, 1 pound bag/boxes of dried beans/rice/pasta, 1 quart cooking oil bottles, and masa flour. In addition to food supplies, there is also significant need for disposable diapers size 3-6. Help is also needed in food sorting/ packing/ distributing and clothing sorting. If you are unable to volunteer in person at VBS, no worries, we have another opportunity for you to serve. We have created an Amazon wish list with items that we need for VBS. You can purchase items online and have them shipped directly to church. To see our list and purchase items, click the link above. Please purchase your items in time for them to be delivered to the church by Monday, July 20th. Check back regularly as we will continue to add items to the list over the next few weeks.

Help serve at the Unshaken Festival on Saturday, August 1, at Columbia Baptist Church in Falls Church! Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas, including hospitality, parking, guest services, and more. Join believers from churches across our region as we serve together at this exciting community event. Volunteers receive free admission and can enjoy the concerts when they're not serving.
NOTE: If you are interested in leading an effort involving the congregation, please email Glenn Keller for assistance in coordinating and advertising the event with staff.
