NEW! Good News Club
Thursdays 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Support Needed
Fall is a time of beginnings with the start of a new school year and we are beginning a new ministry for children to be held at Knollwood. Kids in K-6th Grade are invited to join The Good News Club on Thursday evenings. Exact details will be coming soon. Good News Clubs are sponsored through Child Evangelism Fellowship, one of our mission partners, with the goal of reaching children with the Gospel, fostering their growing relationship with Christ, and helping children and families to become involved in a local, Bible-centered church. The club is an ideal opportunity for our children to invite/bring their school friends and neighbors to join them. We specifically wish to reach children in the community with the Gospel message. We would love to know who is interested in attending the club. Contact info below.
Are you curious about the GNC meetings that your children can experience? Are you contemplating becoming a volunteer? This is also an opportunity for adults and youth to volunteer to help with the weekly 90-minute club meetings. (Yes, we need you!) The meetings are fast-paced, so we need lots of hands to be successful. Learn more in an inviting atmosphere here at Knollwood.
To learn more or if you have any questions, please email Lanelle Kyle.
Hospitality
Sunday Morning Coffee & Snacks
Did you know that we have coffee available every Sunday before church in the foyer? And on the 1st Sunday of the month, we have yummy treats to enjoy as well! We are in need of volunteers to help us run this hospitality ministry. If you are interested, email Mary Mendez.
Making Meals
There are many ways to show someone you care...and one of those ways is through food! We are putting together a list of people we can call on when someone in our church family needs a meal - because of a new baby, a serious illness, or during the loss of a loved one. If you'd like to be on this list, please email Mary Mendez.
Properties Ministry
Support Needed
We value the facilities and grounds the Lord has provided us here at Knollwood. We are working on building a team of folks willing to pitch in and help on projects and needs as they arise related to our property. Professionals, amateur DIY'ers, or those with no fix-it skills at all are welcome. If you do have particular ability in the trades (e.g, plumbing, sheet rock, etc.) let David Oakley know that when you call or email. Thank you to those who have already volunteered!
NOTE: If you are interested in leading an effort involving the congregation, please email Glenn Keller for assistance in coordinating and advertising the event with staff.
