The Promise of Christmas: Isaiah

December 4, 2016 Speaker: Mark Petersburg

Isaiah carried on his prophetic ministry between 740 and 701 B.C. – more than seven hundred years before the coming of the Messiah. God further unveils information about the promise of Christmas, a promise first stated in Genesis, chapter three, following the fall of Adam and Eve into sin. Isaiah speaks of this child, the seed of the woman, and his conception, his name, his character, his mission, his identity and his everlasting kingdom. The funnel of history continues to narrow as the promise of Christmas draws nearer.
