On Labor Day weekend, it’s a good time to think about the nature of work, however you want to define or describe work. The Puritans held a solidly biblical view of work, a view that would be worth our consideration. When properly understood, our work is part of our worship. The Apostle Paul instructs us: “Whatever you do, you your work heartily as unto the Lord…..It is the Lord Christ whom you serve” (Colossians 3).
