An aerial view of a city is quite different than a ground view. You don’t get the street details, but you do get the big view, the big picture. This is a flyover of the book of Romans, one of the greatest books in the entire Bible. Virtually every great movement in the history of the Christian church has been centered on the truths contained in this book. The entire scope of salvation is included within it. The overall theme is the righteousness of God. And so Paul deals with the need to get right with God, how to get right with God and, having gotten right with God, what effect this should have in our lives.
