This message examines the biblical teaching on the Church, the Body of Christ. Every believer in Jesus is placed into the universal church at the moment of their salvation through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We also choose to affiliate ourselves with a local body of believers which comprises the local church. This marvelous entity is to be a place of encouragement, spiritual growth, community, and an outlet for service.
