We finally made it - arrived in Israel at 0530 from London after a 36 hour journey that started again at 1000, Friday morning. A man with a van meet us at Ben Gurion airport and drove us to Beer Sheva (Beer Sheeba - Well of Oaths) located south at the beginning of the Negev desert where we finally met up with our fellow tour mates and leaders. We also went to Avdar, Ein Avdat and the Wilderness of Zin where we hiked into and up out of a canyon that looks like a mini-Grand Canyon. The temp on the canyon floor was close to 100 F but there was breeze and the humidity was low at 50%, so it wasn't bad. We received faith teachings on Abraham, Moises and each of us shared a brief testimony as part of a team. The 5 of us are very tired and are looking forward to sleeping in a bed for the first time in three nights! More Negev desert hiking tommorow. Shalom.
