Student Ministry (Grades 7-12)
Thanks for visiting the Student Ministry section of our website! Our ministry exists to see lives changed through helping students become disciples of Jesus. We believe that the best way to do this is by teaching the Scriptures and promoting faith-building relationships with caring, Christ-following adults.
Everything we do comes out of this mission. We invite you to discover the many ways Knollwood Student Ministries helps to develop the spiritual life of teenagers. Please let us know how our ministry can serve you and your family!
Elijah Hearin, Youth Director
Rock Solid is our Sunday morning youth ministry program designed to help students know and grow in their relationship with Jesus. The morning consists of: breakfast snacks, fun games and an opportunity to participate in an age and gender specific Community Group, led by a trained adult. For more information about Community Groups click here. Rock Solid meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Center.
Sunday Night Smash!
All students in grades 7-12 are invited to join us every Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the KCC parking lot to play an outdoor game (ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, etc.), eating some delicious snacks, and having conversations about God and faith. This is a great opportunity for students to meet new people, have fun, and participate in meaningful conversations.
Student Leadership Team
We believe that God invites students to serve and lead in significant ways. That God welcomes students to join him in doing amazingly wonderful things! We believe that teenagers can lead and make positive contributions to the church and the world today! We offer a leadership program for students that will challenge and equip them to make a difference in the world around them. As they do this, they will discover a richness in their walk with Christ they had not known before. To apply for student leadership, contact Elijah.
