How do you fill the emptiness of a soul?  When you have tried all sorts of things and find them lacking, what do you do?  Such is the experience of a woman of Samaria who encountered Jesus at Jacob’s well.  In their conversation, Jesus bridges from the physical to the spiritual, from the known to the unknown, from the natural to the supernatural.  And this woman, searching to fill the emptiness in her life through many men, finds living water that would quench her thirst.
