Dealing with Failure

Passage: John 21

The Apostle Peter was a man with many compelling strengths; he also had some glaring weaknesses and failures. There is no greater failure on Peter’s part, I am sure, than his denial of Jesus. We would be left with a very sour and distasteful memory of Peter if this is how it all ended. But God wasn’t through with Peter. John, chapter 21, records the wonderful restoration of Peter by his Master and friend, Jesus. We also know all too well the experience of failure. How should we deal with failure in our own lives?
