Prejudice – it’s ugly; it’s wrong; and it’s not new. We see it front and center in the lives and views of the Pharisees. We also see how “tradition” became the foundation of a self-righteousness exhibited by these same Jews. Jesus addressed both of these things head-on, further leading to confrontation between him and the religious establishment.
