“It makes no difference what you believe, just so long as you are sincere.” Ever heard someone make that statement? Is that right? Is sincerity the most important value when it comes to our beliefs and actions? Or is it possible that that view could be disastrous? John the Apostle addresses the issue of “truth and consequences” in his New Testament letter, warning the church about false teachers who deny the truth God has revealed.
