No doubt you have heard someone say: “Judge not.” It is often the response to someone who makes a critical statement about another person’s beliefs or moral standards. This has become a prevailing view today, even among Christians. The problem is that isn’t what Jesus said and certainly not what he meant. When is judging appropriate and how does one judge rightly?
