A Call To Faithfulness
When we arrive at the book of Deuteronomy, forty years have passed since the fateful decision at Kadesh-Barnea to not enter the Promised Land, fearful of the giants living there. God’s judgment has run its course, and now the people are poised to fulfill the plan God had for them. But would they be faithful to God and his Word to them? Chapter seven of Deuteronomy is all about faithfulness. In their experience and in Moses’ exhortations, we see our own lives and God’s call to us to be faithful to him and his Word.
