Moses leads the people of Israel out of Egypt to the mountain where God had appeared to him through the burning bush. Here God gives to Israel instructions on how they are to live their lives as His people. These instructions include the Civil Law to govern their civic life, the Ceremonial Law to govern their religious life, and the Moral Law to govern their personal life. The question for followers of Christ on this side of the cross and empty tomb is this: How should we view the Law today? The Apostle Paul presents three different ways of relating to the Old Testament Law in Romans, chapter seven.
