God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. The Christmas story focuses on two very ordinary people, two people who willingly submitted to God’s plan for them even though this totally interrupted the plans they had for themselves. God still uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. It requires a response like that of Mary and Joseph.
