We are to be contenders for the faith, not pretenders in the faith. This is the theme of the little letter of Jude in the New Testament. With the threat of false teachers in their midst, Jude encouraged his readers to contend for the faith that was “once for all delivered to the saints.” This task is also ours as we face many challenges in the church today.
