This message kicks off a church-wide summer reading program through the New Testament. Each Sunday message will deal with a topic out of the coming week’s reading. Every story has a beginning. There are two momentous experiences that prepare Jesus for public ministry and bear witness to his unique personhood: his baptism with the giving of the Spirit and the temptations in the wilderness. With each one there is application for all who placed their trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
