For many Christians, the question they ask about attending church is “What’s in it for me?” Recent surveys would seem to indicate this perspective of “Why bother?” is increasingly prevalent among those who identify themselves as believers in God, even those who would say they are evangelical in faith. This message explores some of the reasons why Christians don’t attend church and then some very basic and important needs we have that are addressed by being active in church.
