Outside the Comfort Zone

June 7, 2015 Speaker: Mark Petersburg Series: A.D.: The Story Continues

Acts chapter ten is one of the most important chapters in the entire New Testament. The events of this chapter reveal the working out of God’s eternal, divine plan of redemption that was to encompass all peoples, all nations. God prepares a Gentile to hear the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the same time, He prepares a Jewish believer (the Apostle Peter) to be the bearer of the “good news” of forgiveness. In doing so, God takes Peter well outside his comfort zone, a process in which this leading apostle has to deal with long-held cultural and religious prejudices. God wants to take us out of our comfort zones as well. Will you respond as Peter did?
