Luke, the historian, illustrates the power of a life by relating the experiences of three people in Acts, chapter nine: Saul, Barnabas and Peter. We see how God uses each of these men to accomplish his divine purposes as they are faithful to the calling they had from him. Will we be faithful to God’s calling in our life? Part of our calling is to serve Jesus, to walk in “the good works that God has prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
