Reverent Faith: Noah

Topic: Faith

The Old Testament character Noah is one of those “persons of faith” who are mentioned in the Faith Chapter of the Bible - Hebrews, chapter eleven. What is interesting is the connection between his obedient faith and his reverent fear of the Lord. It was his holy fear, his reverent awe of the Lord that led him to obey God’s command to build the ark. God still looks for those who will in reverent fear walk with him and obey him. We discover in our own spiritual experience that reverent faith is expressed by obedient faith.
