In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 24, we meet a fellow by the name of Cleopas, a follower of Jesus. He and his companion, perhaps his wife, are walking on the road from Jerusalem back to their home. They are trying to make sense of the events of the prior week - a week when they experienced the height of joy and the depths of sorrow. Now on their way home, they were in the grip of despondency. And then, they met the Risen Christ. And everything changed!
