The last two chapters in the book of Joshua record the Final Farewells that Joshua gave to the leaders of Israel and to the people of Israel.  His exhortations are as applicable to us today as they were to Israel so long ago.  Obey God; cling to God; love God; and choose God - all call us to a life of fidelity and allegiance to the God who has redeemed us.  The challenge before Israel and before us is to guard against drifting away from God and chasing after the gods of the culture around us.
