Since the average persons spends so much time in their life at work, it is important for the Christian to have a Biblical perspective on this subject. Your work really does matter to God. God ordained work and thus established its dignity and value. One of the dangers we have is not seeing how our work fits into the larger context of doing everything to the glory of God. A.W. Tozer wrote: "Let a man sanctify the Lord God in his heart and he can thereafter do no common act."
