Category: Christian Living

Summary: No one wants to miss the last words of a loved one. The same is true of the last words of Jesus as He was leaving earth to be with His Father. His words are found in Matthew 28:16-20 and are just as important now for all believers to act upon as they were 2,000 years ago. To share the gospel message from one generation to another is now our Great Commission - our “standing orders.” Learn how you can make a difference by reproducing and multiplying your spiritual legacy for generations to come.

Summary: The essence of life is relationships. One of the critical needs is to be authentic, real, genuine. To be authentic means to risk being real, being who you really are.

Summary: Since the average persons spends so much time in their life at work, it is important for the Christian to have a Biblical perspective on this subject. Your work really does matter to God. God ordained work and thus established its dignity and value. One of the dangers we have is not seeing how our work fits into the larger context of doing everything to the glory of God. A.W. Summary: The most active word used in the New Testament to describe living the Christian life is “walk.” Our “walk” reveals much about our understanding of spiritual truth, of the meaning of faith, and the application of it to life. In Ephesians, chapter five, the Apostle Paul gives four exhortations that quality our walk - four perspectives and expectations that demonstrate a vibrant faith. Those four are: Walk in Love, Walk in Light, Walk in Wisdom, and Walk in the Spirit. If your faith life is vibrant, filled with vitality, your life will be increasingly characterized by this kind of walk.

Summary: God has a plan for your life. This is more than a cliché; it is more than a lead into a presentation of the Gospel. It is a Biblical truth. God is working from a blueprint when it comes to your spiritual life. He has destined your life for glory, being conformed to the image of Christ. The process by which he does this is called “transformation” and it is a partnership between God and the believer in Christ.
