Kick-Off Breakfast: "Fall Planting - Dig a Little Deeper"
Saturday, September 18, 9:00 a.m. - KCC Sanctuary
All women are invited, regardless of your level of involvement in women’s ministry. No need to bring anything: just come, relax, and hear about plans for the upcoming year in women’s ministry. For fun, Paul Simmons will be providing information and sharing slides on growing plants and flowers. Sign-up in the church foyer or email Sheila Lax (surfingsheila@yahoo.com).
Weekly Bible Studies Begin September 22
There are three Bible Studies being offered this year:
...Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. - a Beth Moore series entitled "Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit" facilitated by Nancy Petersburg
...Wednesdays through the Fall from 7:00-8:30 p.m. - a study in the book of Hebrews facilitated by Sheila Lax
...Wednesdays through the Spring from 7:00-8:30 p.m. - "Enhancing Your Marriage" facilitated by Debbie Durant. This study will define how to follow God in your marriage and permit Him to refine your role as your husband's wife in accordance with His truth, all the while shaping you into the image of His Son. A little 'homework' and a lot of 'heart work' take you on this adventure.
Woman to Woman Mentoring - "The M and M's" - Mentors and Mentees
Mentor training will be provided. More information coming soon.
