Sanctity of Life (SLM)
SLM offers life-affirming alternatives to abortion, as well as compassionate counsel and support to those who face pregnancy, abstinence, and post-abortion related issues. Located near George Mason University this ministry is open Monday – Friday and every other Saturday. Current activities include: Outreach to Sexually Active Students and Single Adults, Hispanics, Keep it Simple – Say No Abstinence Programs, Help for Post-Abortive Women, Extended Education Workshops, and assistance to Romania. Christian Answers for the New Age (CANA)
CANA is a local Arlington ministry that is responding to alternative religions and those involved in New Age, occult, and Eastern belief systems, by informing and educating them with the love and truth of Christ. Marcia Montenegro, a former professional astrologer and teacher of astrology and a former practitioner for many years of Eastern-type meditation and beliefs, was engaged in various occult practices such as having a spirit guide and doing astral travel.
