Children's Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for  the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  Matthew 19:14

Mission Statement
Children's Ministry includes children ages newborn through grade 6. The purpose of Children's Ministry is to reach out to children and to teach them to know, to love and to serve Jesus Christ all the days of their lives.  They will learn to KNOW Jesus by learning age appropriate Bible stories and the basic teachings of the Christian faith.  They are taught to use faith skills, such as Bible study, prayer and worship.

They will learn to LOVE Jesus by teaching them to apply Bible learning to their life situations.  The goal of Bible teaching is to help children understand the joyful life God intended by following His values and lessons.

They will learn to SERVE by growing in their understanding about what  it means to be a Christian.  They will learn that faith and love must be put into action and become a part of their everyday life.

Curriculum
All Children's Ministry classes use "Gospel Light" curriculum.  Each lesson is Christ-centered and shares the gospel of Jesus Christ.  All lessons help the students put their faith into action.  Students take home materials that encourage faith-building for the entire family.

Volunteers
ALL volunteers are trained and well equipped to teach our students and all have gone through background checks.
