Adult Bible Fellowships
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7 [NLT]
The Word of God is essential to our function as a Christian! It is essential to our understanding of not only God, but ourselves as well. Without God’s Word, we will be purposeless and disrupted from our call and the purpose for our salvation. When we base our lives on the Word of God, then Christ can create His work in us by the power of the Spirit.
Our hope is that every adult would choose to grow in their faith. Our desire at Knollwood is to come alongside and support that growth through our Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) program offered each Sunday morning at Knollwood in the Education Building, lower level.
FALL 2010 ABF's
"With Christ in the School of Prayer"
Led by Marty Bruns
9:00 A.M.
Go back to school with your kids! Many Christians complain they don’t have the power to pray in faith an effective prayer that accomplishes much. In his book With Christ In The School Of Prayer, Andrew Murray outlines how Jesus is waiting and longing to teach us. Come, learn from the Master.
"A Study of I, II, III John"
Led by John & Sheila Lax
10:30 A.M.
Are you walking the talk? What is your say-do ratio? We will be studying the epistles of John and will see that John is really wanting us to be able to have 100% absolute confidence in regard to our salvation. He is very challenging on ensuring that our actions match our words – and thus our testimony to others. Join us for a stimulating time of study and discussion, as we dig deeper into these letters, and challenge each other.
